Spanish law caps standard charters at 12 guests per vessel — no exceptions, however big the boat looks. Groups of 13+ out of Puerto Banús have two real options: a two-yacht flotilla sailing side by side (more deck space per person, shared anchorages, and honestly the two-boat dynamic becomes part of the fun) or an event-licensed vessel built for numbers. Anyone promising a standard yacht for twenty is promising a problem at the dock. It's the first thing we check, before price.
Puerto Banús runs full throttle from April to October. From November to March most party vessels go into winter storage and the format changes: days are mild — usually 18 to 20 degrees — but it's not swim-stop weather. What works beautifully off-season is the covered-deck cruise: music, open bar, catering on board and the Golden Mile at sunset, at rates well below summer. We'll tell you straight what your date allows, then build the best version of it.
